| July 9th ~ Glenn Barr and Eric Fortune |
| Created on 2010-06-10T14:33:00.000-07:00 |

"Tiger Tiger Burning Bright" will be running through the end of June. Thanks to the generosity of Audrey Kawasaki and all the collectors who donated money, we raised almost 20K for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Wildlife Conservation Society! Not bad for a mellow, sleepy summer. This fall we kick off our schedule with the return of Pop Surrealist "elder statesman" and all around exceptional guy Glenn Barr. After laying fairly low for awhile Glenn has created a truly "epic" show based around his dystopian mythos. We are very excited and honored to be unveiling this new series. Contact us to get on a preview list! In addition, we will be showcasing 3 brand new paintings by rising star Eric Fortune. His dreamy, slightly foggy paintings are equal parts exquisite beauty and dark, erotic subtext. Join us on July 9th for the opening!

This Saturday, April 17th our neighbors at Damaged Goods are hosting a full afternoon of insanely good bands playing live and for free in store. Additionally, the heavy hitters - rising alt-country siren Star Anna, Damaged Goods mastermind Mark Pickerel (ex Screaming Trees and currently of Mark Pickerel and His Praying Hands), and the legendary Exene Cervenka of X - will be playing their sets at the gallery starting at 5pm. Additionally, all day we will be offering 30% of all art books and unframed prints, and Femke Hiemstra designed T's at $10 a pop as long as they last! (Walk in's only- sorry!)
Our next show, "Tiger Tiger Burning Bright" opens May 14th. We are thrilled to announce that in conjunction with the show we will be producing and offering a print by Audrey Kawasaki from her Tiger Tiger original. This will be an edition of 100.
